Exploring new hobbies and prepping designs for fall!

Hey there! Welcome to another issue of Pattern Pulse, where I share updates from my studio, thoughts on a current trending style, and new design releases. Let’s get into it!

🎨 Studio Updates

A few months ago I decided to pick up a new creative hobby. I’ve been carving rubber stamps and block printing.

Most of the creative work I do involves a screen and I was craving something a little more traditional to do with my hands. My only struggle is the materials can get expensive over time. 😓 But I enjoy the process so much that I feel it’s worth it.

My stamps aren’t perfect. They can have weird jagged edges or just don’t capture what I was going for, but it feels exciting to try something new and be a beginner again.

I’ve even started creating repeating patterns with my stamps. Here are a few I’ve printed in my sketchbook.

Just a little something I’m doing for fun to keep the creative juices flowing!

👀 Trend Tracking

I know it’s still summer time, but before we know it’ll be right in the middle of fall. For seasonal trends, I like to prepare my designs months in advance so they can be printed on products in time for the season.

So this time of year, I’m focused on cozy and spooky designs. Playful pumpkins. Moody autumn tones. The fall designs always have a ton of personality and a little bit of drama.

I’ve been creating a batch of fall and Halloween-inspired designs—some cozy, some a little spooky, and all ready to be licensed for your next product release. Whether you’re working on autumn accessories, spooky stationery, or seasonal packaging, I’ve got artwork that can help bring it all together.

You can already find some of these designs in my Pattern Shop, all fully customizable for your needs!
